George III bow fronted, caddy top chest of drawers.

 

Figured Mahogany, caddy top and apron adorned with ebony stringing, raised on splay legs.

 

The brass work depicts lord nelson and his quote “England expects every man to do his duty”.

 

This chest would have been commissioned to commemorate the victory of the battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

 

Some minor repairs to veneers and cock beading and a repair to one handle as pictured.
