English oak and Russian leather side chair.

 

Some cracking and losses to the leather as you would expect with a chair of this age, please see photographs.

 

Provenance: purchased from Upper Slaughter Manor, a beautiful Elizabethan manor house set in the Cotswold countryside. Parts of the house date back to the Saxon period, and appears in the Domesday Book of 1086.
